Short Biography

Marija Sazdevski graduated at the Faculty of Economics within the University of Belgrade.

She continued her academic education with postgraduate studies at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Ca’ Foscari Venezia as an Erasmus Mundus fellow, receiving Master Degree in 2009 on “Methods and Models in Quantitative Economics”. She has been working as Project Officer at the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation since year 2009, within the Civil Society Department.

Her work is dedicated to projects related to good governance and civil participation. Her focus is on analysis of financial data of the state budget. In 2011 she was managing the project related to the civil participation on local level that was demanding active cooperation with representatives of the Local Government Units.

She has extended knowledge in statistical analysis of the data. She is also a co-author of comparative analyses, assessments etc. regarding civil dialogue and small entrepreneurship environment in Macedonia.
