Mr. Jani Makraduli

Short Biography

Jani Makraduli was born on 28.03.1965 in Bitola. He graduated elementary and secondary education in Skopje and graduated from Electro-technical Faculty in Skopje where he was elected as senior assistant in 2001. He is also manager of the IT laboratory at the Faculty. He started the postgraduate studies in Belgrade and in 1994 he became master at the University in Skopje. He did 43 publications and scientific works during his professional career.

He started the political career with the local elections 1996-2000 when he was elected as member of the municipal parliament of the municipality of Centar. In 1997 he is member of the political school in Freiburg and on the additional parliamentary elections in 2001-2002 he was elected as member of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia. On the regular elections 2002-2006 he was re-elected as member of the Parliament and appointed as coordinator of the parliamentary group of SDSM in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia. In 2003 he was appointed as President of the Committee for IT technology in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and in 2004 was elected as member of the Standing Committee for cooperation with the European Parliament and member of the ad-hoc Committee of experts of the Council of Europe for IT society. On the regular parliamentary elections 2006-2008 he was elected for the third time as member of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia and again appointed as coordinator of the parliamentary group of SDSM until the extraordinary parliamentary elections 2008-2012 when he was elected for the fourth time as member of the Parliament from Socialdemocratic Union of Macedonia. He was elected as vice-president of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia on 25 August 2008.

  • Committee for Supervising the Work of the Security and Counter-Intelligence Directorate and the Intelligence Agency, Deputy Member;
  • Parliamentary Channel Council, Chair;
  • Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Member.
