Mr. Jared Ford
NDI Program Manager on the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team

Short Biography

Jared Ford is a Program Manager on the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team at the National Democratic Institute. In this capacity, he manages NDI’s work in employing the use of technology to promote and strengthen democracy around the world through NDI programs.

Since 2006, Jared has supervised ICT programs in dozens of countries and in all of NDI’s technical areas and has positioned the Institute as a leader in the use of ICTs in democratic development. His areas of concentration include working with civil society organizations in advocacy, organizing, and oversight activities, as well as directly with legislatures, local government officials and political parties to improve governance, participation and representation.

Jared earned his BA from Amherst College, and his Master's in International Peace and Conflict Resolution at American University’s School of International Service.
